If your question is not answered here, call the shop at (208) 267-8090 during Pacific business hours. Purchasing offices should start with vendor information, where the W-9, DUNS and CAGE code are posted.
About sixteen weeks on carriers at present, and four to six weeks on identification and air medic vests. Pouches and accessories ship within two weeks. If you need something sooner, tell us your timeframe when you order and we will try to accommodate it. Identification panels are made in a weekly batch and ship Wednesdays.
Carriers are specified in the Loadout Designer and quoted from that configuration, then invoiced directly. A carrier is in the shop for months and specifications sometimes change while it is being built. Invoicing at the end means the price reflects the carrier we actually made, rather than a payment up front followed by refunds and follow-up invoices. Everything else on the site is paid at checkout.
Yes, along with checks and cards. Reference the quote number on the purchase order. The W-9, DUNS number and CAGE code are on the vendor information page so your accounts payable office does not have to call for them.
Idaho orders are taxed. Orders shipping outside Idaho are not.

Lettered panels are made to order and cannot be returned. The configurator preview shows the panel at true proportion, and what you see there is what we make; there is no art proof step. [ Owner to confirm returns policy on unlettered stock items. ]
No. The Loadout Designer collects the armor make, model and size along with the officer's measurements. Nothing is traced or mailed.

[ Owner to answer: refitting a carrier to new panels, and what that costs. ]
We repair and modify our own armor carriers. Identification vests, panels and pouches are not repaired or modified. Shop time is $50 an hour, most modifications run three to four hours, and repairs turn around in about a week. If the work approaches the cost of a new carrier we will tell you and quote you a new one instead. We do not repair other manufacturers' carriers, and we will turn down a carrier that is too far worn or that needs a size change.
No. Repairs and modifications to our carriers turn around in about a week and do not sit behind new production.
Send it to us at your cost and we bill return shipping with the work. Every repair is quoted before we start.
Yes. We keep six to eight sample carriers a department can sign out and wear on shift for two weeks, and we cover shipping both ways. Each one is listed with the armor it is built around and the size range it adjusts across, so you can decide whether it will work. If a department is committed or seriously looking, we will build carriers to your own spec and sizes to wear before you order. See what is available.
Yes. Your department configuration is saved in the Loadout Designer, so a reorder for new hires is a matter of sizes rather than starting over.
Usually the officer or a department coordinator rather than a purchasing agent. The Loadout Designer is built so that any of them can use it, and the quote it produces is what purchasing needs.
